The design for our Shaun the Sheep was inspired by our pupils to represent the shared identity of Leigh Academy Bearsted. Every pupil has decorated the sculpture with their handprint, and the local history of the academy is represented in the silhouettes of the class names, inspired by The National Trust and English Heritage. Our Shaun not only embodies our connection to the community but our commitment to serve it too. We are delighted that Boxley-based business JD Bush Decorators Ltd gifted us our sculpture.
